Pass Plus Course Prices
Pass Plus training with Aceway is £35 per hour. Your instructor will tailor the training around the Pass Plus modules and your individual driving experience.

Evening & Weekend Lessons: +£2 per hour
Additional charge applies to lessons after 6pm and at weekends.
Pass Plus is designed for newly qualified drivers who want to gain additional experience and develop their skills beyond the standard driving test.
Pass Plus takes at least 6 hours to complete. The total cost will depend on the amount of training required to reach the required standard across all six modules.

What Is Pass Plus?
Pass Plus is a practical training course for drivers who have already passed their driving test. It is designed to help you build on the skills you learned as a learner and gain more experience in different driving situations.
There is no additional driving test at the end of the course. Instead, your progress is assessed throughout the training by your instructor.
Your instructor will help you develop your observation, planning, judgement and confidence across these different driving environments.

What Happens When You Complete Pass Plus?
There is no final test. Your instructor assesses your progress throughout the course, and you must reach the required standard in all six modules.
Once you have successfully completed the course, you and your instructor sign your Pass Plus training report. You can then send it to DVSA to apply for your Pass Plus certificate.

Pass Plus is ideal for drivers who have recently passed their practical driving test and want more experience before driving independently in more challenging situations.

How long does the Pass Plus course take?
Pass Plus takes at least 6 hours to complete. Some drivers may need additional training depending on their experience and progress.
Do I have to take another driving test?
No. There is no final Pass Plus test. Your instructor assesses you throughout the course, and you need to reach the required standard in all six modules.
What does Pass Plus cover?
Pass Plus covers six areas: town driving, all-weather driving, rural roads, night driving, dual carriageways and motorways.
How much does Pass Plus cost with Aceway?
Aceway currently charges £35 per hour for Pass Plus training. As the course takes at least 6 hours, the minimum training cost is £210, although additional training may be required.
Can Pass Plus reduce my car insurance?
Possibly. Some insurers offer discounts to drivers who successfully complete Pass Plus, but not all insurers do and a cheaper premium is not guaranteed.
When should I take Pass Plus?
You can take Pass Plus at any time after passing your driving test, although GOV.UK says it is likely to be most useful to new drivers in the first year after passing.
Will I receive a Pass Plus certificate?
