Aceway Driving School is a family-run driving school based in Birmingham, providing professional manual and automatic driving lessons, driving instructor training and career opportunities for driving instructors across Birmingham and the surrounding areas.
Founded in 2005 by Ali Shahraki, Aceway started as a small independent driving school with a simple principle: provide honest advice, high-quality driver education and genuinely care about the people we work with.
Today, Aceway is owned by Kuldeep Shahraki (His Wife), a Grade A Approved Driving Instructor, with Ali continuing as Founder & Head of Training.
Although Aceway has grown, our approach hasn't changed. We want learners to become safe, confident drivers for life, and we want the instructors who work and train with us to develop successful, professional long-term careers.

Our Story
Aceway Driving School was established in Birmingham in 2005, growing from a small independent driving school into a multi-instructor, family-run driving school serving learners across Birmingham and the surrounding areas.
Over the years, we've helped thousands of people develop their driving skills, supported learners through their driving-test journey and trained new driving instructors entering the profession.
As the industry has changed, Aceway has continued to evolve — introducing automatic driving lessons, female instructors, online learner education, driving instructor training, professional development and modern technology to improve the support we provide.
But growth has never been about becoming the biggest driving school.
Our aim is to build a driving school known for the quality of its instructors, honest advice, professional standards and the way we treat people.
We would rather grow through reputation and results than compromise our standards just to become bigger.

Our mission is to help people become safer, more confident and more capable drivers, while developing professional driving instructors who genuinely care about the people they teach.
We believe good driver education isn't simply about passing a test. It's about developing the knowledge, judgement, confidence and responsibility needed for safe driving throughout life.
For our instructors and trainees, our aim is equally clear: provide the training, support and opportunities they need to develop professionally and build sustainable careers.
Giving Back to Our Community
Aceway believes that growing a successful business should also create opportunities to support others.
As part of this commitment, we donate a proportion of income from our driving instructor training and franchise activities to support charitable causes, including organisations helping people affected by homelessness.
For us, success isn't only measured by the number of pupils or instructors we support, but also by the positive contribution we can make beyond the driving school.

Learning Doesn't Stop When the Lesson Ends
At Aceway, we believe learners make better progress when they understand why they're doing something, not simply how to perform it during a driving lesson.
That's why we provide additional learning resources to support subjects such as road safety, driving theory, hazard awareness, manoeuvres and preparation for independent driving.
These resources are designed to complement practical lessons and help learners develop the knowledge and confidence needed to become safer drivers.

If you decide not to continue after the first hour of your initial 2-hour lesson, the guarantee applies subject to our full terms.
