The cost of becoming a driving instructor depends on how much training you need, the stage of the ADI qualification process you're currently at and whether you choose a complete training package or pay for training as you progress.
At Aceway, we offer both pay-as-you-go instructor training at £45 p/h and a complete £1,990 training package up to your pink badge and sponsoring you to join our team and start earning , allowing you to choose the approach that best suits your circumstances.
You don't necessarily need to start from the beginning. If you've already passed ADI Part 1 or Part 2, or you're currently a PDI preparing for Part 3, we can assess where you are and help you choose the appropriate training.

What Other Costs Should You Budget For?
Your Aceway training fee is not the only cost involved in qualifying as an Approved Driving Instructor. There are also fees paid separately as part of the DVSA qualification and registration process.
Depending on the route you take, these can include:
✓ Criminal record check
✓ ADI Part 1 test fee
✓ ADI Part 2 test fee
✓ ADI Part 3 test fee
✓ Optional PDI trainee licence fee, if you use this route
✓ ADI registration fee after qualifying
These fees are not included in the Aceway training package unless specifically stated otherwise and may change, so always check the current GOV.UK fees before applying.
