Kuldeep's journey is a great example of how driving instructor training can develop into a long-term professional career.
After completing the ADI qualification process and passing her ADI Part 3 test, Kuldeep became a fully qualified Approved Driving Instructor.
Her development didn't stop when she qualified. When she later attended her DVSA Standards Check, she achieved a Grade A, demonstrating a high standard of instructional ability.
Her journey is particularly meaningful because she balanced her professional development with family life β including attending her Standards Check just seven days after giving birth to her daughter.
Today, Kuldeep is a Grade A ADI and the current owner of Aceway Driving School.
Kuldeep's Journey to Becoming a Driving Instructor
π¬ Kuldeep Story
Kuldeep started her journey through the same ADI qualification process that every aspiring driving instructor must complete.
She progressed through the three stages of qualification β ADI Part 1 theory and hazard perception, Part 2 driving ability and Part 3 instructional ability β developing both her driving and teaching skills along the way.
Passing Part 3 allowed Kuldeep to join the ADI register and begin her career as a fully qualified driving instructor.
But qualifying was not the end of her development. Like every ADI, Kuldeep would later be required to demonstrate that she continued to meet the professional standard expected of a driving instructor through the DVSA Standards Check.
From Qualified ADI to Grade A
Becoming a qualified ADI was an important achievement, but Kuldeep continued developing her instructional and coaching skills after qualification.
As part of remaining on the ADI register, driving instructors can be called by the DVSA to attend a Standards Check, where an examiner observes a real driving lesson and assesses the instructor's performance.
Kuldeep achieved Grade A at her Standards Check β the highest grade awarded under the current Standards Check grading system.
What makes the achievement particularly memorable for Kuldeep is that she attended her Standards Check just seven days after giving birth to her daughter.
Achieving Grade A reflected the standard of instruction she had developed through training, experience and continued professional development.
Where Is Kuldeep Today?
Kuldeep's journey shows that becoming an ADI can be the beginning of a long-term career rather than simply the achievement of passing three tests.
Since qualifying, she has continued working as a driving instructor and developing her experience within the industry.
Today, Kuldeep is a Grade A Approved Driving Instructor and the owner of Aceway Driving School, helping to support the continued development of the school and its instructor network.
Her journey from completing the ADI qualification process to becoming a Grade A instructor and ultimately leading the driving school demonstrates how a career in driver training can develop over time.
